Here something the R&D department amd I came together on.
Since side hilling is a big part of RC Crawling, here's a mod that will make the cheapest of RC tires better.
*( Use the softest foams on hand, without the inner stage, if using 2-stage foams.)*
You will need at least a pair of old tires,
#1)Take the old tires and cut them completely down the center of the tread.
( making two halves, like a bagel,lol)
#2) Cut off the center bead off, the section that you use to mount on the beadlock ring.
#3) Cut the old sidewall off each half, right at the point where the tread begins.
#4)Cut across the sidewall
(making the letter "C"), now the old sidewall is ready.
#5) Turn the new tires inside out, now you can glue the old sidewalls onto the new tires.
*Make sure the old sidewall is the same width of the new tires' sidewall*
#6) Once the glue is dried, turn the new tires back to their normal postion and mount them on your rig.
